HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL/DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Historically, adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities are isolated and excluded from social events due to lack of access to spaces that accommodate their needs. This limits them from participating in activities with others living in the community, a right that everyone deserves. In celebration of 40 YEARS of supporting the IDD community in Forsyth and surrounding counties, The Enrichment Center is hosting our "Yellow Brick Road of Events," 40 accessible and FUN events from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024, with the goal of creating meaningful and inclusive spaces for all. Your support will help us host these memorable events and offset the expense for participants and their families, many of whom receive Medicaid.
